In June 2011, HADARS decided to offer a "green" receiver kit to the public. We were pleased to have an article published in the December 2011 issue of RSGB magazine Radcom describing the project. For further information about this project follow this link here
In October 2011, several club members took part in the G-QRP Buildathon which was held on the Friday evening preceding the Mini-convention. The project was a QRP Z-Match ATU.

As a result of our experiences at the Buildathon and inspired by the presentation which Steve G0FUW gave at the G-QRP Mini-Convention the following day, the Chairman and Secretary announced that the Radio Society would run a series of construction workshops. These would give members opportunities to construct useful items of equipment - with help on hand if things became difficult - and then learn how to use them. The projects will include mainly test equipment but may include receivers and possibly transmitters.
As these projects are completed, links to pages detailing their construction and use will appear here.
